Welcome to Mrs. Hovda's Sixth Grade Class!
Students and Parents, I am looking forward to working together in an active learning partnership.
Sixth grade is so very, very important! This is the year to gain confidence and grow in responsibility. I encourage you to continue to take pride in your work and do your very best everyday! I consider homework to be an investment in yourself. Plan to "invest" one hour each night completing assignments, reading, researching, and learning!
Think about the goals you would like to accomplish this year. Please discuss your goals, activities, and accomplishments with your parents frequently.
Sixth grade is so important to get you ready for Emmett Junior High! Keep using your time very well and prioritizing your activities.
Remember, this year, you are the "role models" in our school! Make good choices! Be responsible! Be helpful!
